Alfred Baum (politician)

Alfred Baum (born May 19, 1881 in Werdau , † August 25, 1947 in Brunndöbra ) was a German politician ( DVP ).

Life

After attending the community school in Werdau, Baum was trained as a primary school teacher at the teachers' college in Auerbach from 1895 to 1901. He then worked as a teacher at an elementary school in Brunndöbra.

After the First World War , Baum taught again as a primary school teacher. He also joined the German People's Party (DVP). On July 8, 1931, he entered the Weimar Republic's fifth Reichstag, elected in September 1930 , as a replacement for the resigned MP Georg Bellmann . He was a member of this group for almost exactly one year, until the Reichstag election in July 1932 , as a representative of constituency 30 (Chemnitz-Zwickau).
