Alfred Friedrich (cook)

Alfred Friedrich (* 1957 in Linz ) is an Austrian chef .

Career

In 1982 Friedrich became Souschef in the Aubergine restaurant at Eckart Witzigmann's in Munich (three Michelin stars ).

In 1991 he became head chef at the Brückenkeller in Frankfurt am Main , which was awarded two Michelin stars. In 1996 he set up his own restaurant Humperdinck in Frankfurt's Westend (one Michelin star). From 1999 to 2004 he cooked in the Marcobrunn restaurant in the Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen .

In 2005 he was chef at Heinz Winkler in the Residenz in Aschau (three Michelin stars). From 2007 he was at the stove at Zarges in Freßgass in Frankfurt . From 2009 he was head chef at the Tigerpalast and from 2012 to 2014 at Lafleur in the Palmengarten Frankfurt .

Since 2017 he has been head chef at Zur Golden Kron in Frankfurt's Alt- Eschersheim district .
