Alfred Gustaf Ahlqvist

Alfred Gustaf Ahlqvist (born June 17, 1838 on Öland , † March 26, 1881 in Växjö ) was a Swedish historian and writer .

Life

From 1864 he worked as a lecturer in Uppsala , later he worked as a senior high school teacher in various Swedish cities. In parallel to his educational work, he dealt with Swedish history in the Reformation era, including intensive research and research in Swedish and foreign archives. In his will he bequeathed his historical research estate to the Swedish Imperial Archives .
