Alfred Hoch

Alfred Hoch (born January 14, 1971 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). From 2005 to 2010 he was a member of the Vienna state parliament and municipal council and from 2010 to 2015 he was regional manager of the ÖVP Vienna.

education and profession

After primary school, Alfred Hoch graduated from a general high school and after graduating in 1990 began studying political science and journalism at the University of Vienna . He also completed advanced training courses in  accountingpublic relations  and social media marketing. From 2012 to 2014 he successfully completed the master’s course “Leadership, Politics, Management” at the FH Campus Wien .

Hoch worked in the communications department of Siemens between 1991 and 1996 and was then press spokesman for the Vienna ÖAAB until 2001 . From 2001 to 2010 he was the regional manager of the ÖAAB in Vienna. From October 2010 to October 2015 he acted as regional manager of the ÖVP Vienna . Hoch is currently employed at ÖBB Infrastruktur AG in the market management and communication (national relations and strategic communication) division.

politics

From 2003 to 2011 Alfred Hoch was a member of the plenary assembly of the Vienna Chamber of Labor and Employees . From 2004 to 2011 he represented the ÖAAB parliamentary group on the board of the Vienna AK. From 2002 to 2015 he was a member of the WAFF Board of Trustees. From 2005 to 2010, Hoch was a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the City Council of Vienna. He represented the ÖVP in the 18th legislative period in the “Urban Development and Transport” committee. From 2003 to 2006 Hoch was the executive district party chairman of the ÖVP Favoriten, and since 2006 he has been the district party chairman of the ÖVP Favoriten.
