Alfred Nichols

Alfred Nichols ( Alfred Hubert Nichols ; born November 28, 1890 in London , † May 1, 1952 in Hammersmith ) was a British long-distance runner .

In 1914 he won the Cross of Nations for England .

At the cross-country run at the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp, he was twelfth and won silver with the British team. He finished eighth over 5000 m .
