Alfred Waibel

Alfred Waibel (born August 4, 1957 in Germany ) is a former German motorcycle racer .

From 1979 to 1991 Waibel, brother of the motorcycle racing driver Gerhard Waibel , drove with interruptions in the 125 cc class of the Grand Prix racing series. He took the following places in the overall ranking:

• 1979 : 36./2 points
• 1981 : 34th / 1 point
• 1982 : 17. / 7 points
• 1985 : 12. / 10 points
• 1986 : 18th / 5 points (this season he also drove in the 80 cm³ class and took 20th place in the final classification with three points)
• 1988 : 19./24 points
• 1989 : 16./25 points
• 1990 : 19./31 points
• 1991 : 28. / 9 points

In 1979, 1981, 1985 to 1988 Waibel was also a six times German champion in the eight-liter class.
