Works

Häberli is best known for designing everyday objects. His credo: "Observation is the most beautiful form of thinking."

For example, he designed the Origo dinner service and the Essence and Senta drinking glass series for the Finnish company Iittala . Furniture is also known, such as the Take a Line for a Walk armchair for Moroso or the Segesta chair for Alias. Other objects were created in collaboration with Christophe Marchand, such as the SEC shelving system (also for Alias) or the Zurigo sofa for Zanotta.

Häberli also designs extravagant felt rugs. He integrates elements such as zippers or clips into his felt carpets, since industrial felt is only 1.6 m wide and connecting elements are necessary. Since 2018 he has been designing his carpets with 3D patterns using laser technology.
