Algirdas Genevičius

Algirdas Genevičius (born June 21, 1952 in Dovainonys , Kaišiadorys Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician and was Vice Minister of the Environment from 2014 to 2016 .

Life

Until 1967 he studied in the 8-year-old school Dovainonys with Kaišiadorys . From 1967 to 1970 he graduated from the Kaunas technical school and in 1991 the economics degree from the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1992 he was the owner and director of the UAB “Laigirda” construction company. In 2012 he ran for election to the Lithuanian parliament, the Seimas , as a representative of Lazdynai . It only got 799 votes, barely 3% of the vote. From August 2014 to December 2016 he was Lithuania's Deputy Minister of the Environment and thus Kęstutis Trečiokas’s deputy in the Butkevičius cabinet .

Genevičius is divorced and has one son.

He is a member of the Tvarka ir teisingumas party .
