Ali Ceylan (born June 17, 1998 in Cologne ) is a German football player . He has been under contract with Wuppertaler SV since winter 2019/20 .

Career

Ceylan started playing football at SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 before moving to FC Viktoria Köln in his hometown . There he played in the youth classes up to the U19s until 2015, before moving to the U19s of FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt in January 2016 .

After only half a year he went back to Cologne in the U19 of SC Fortuna Cologne . In the summer of 2017, he received his first professional contract from the club after he had promoted to the Bundesliga with the A-Juniors . He made his professional debut in the 3rd division when he was substituted on the 2nd matchday of the 2017/18 season against FC Carl Zeiss Jena . At the end of the 2018/19 season he was relegated to the Regionalliga West with Fortuna.

For the second half of the 2019/20 season, Ceylan switched to league rivals Wuppertaler SV .
