Alexandra Alrey "Ali" Cobrin (born July 21, 1989 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress . Her best-known role is that of Kara in the sequel American Pie: The Class Reunion (2012) from the American Pie series .

Life

Cobrin was born and raised in Chicago. She attended high school at the Chicago Academy for the Arts , where she studied musical theater. In addition, she completed training sessions as a classic ballerina and took part in the Junior Olympics.

Cobrin began her career in the entertainment industry as improviser at Second City's teen ensemble and danced on tour with the Burklyn Ballet Theater of Scotland , under which they on the Edinburgh Fringe Festival occurred. At the same time she took part in workshops for Broadway musicals - including All That Jazz and Wonderland - directed by Ben Verreen and Frank Wildhorn. In 2010 she made her television debut as Amber in the pilot of Kings by Night and as Molly in the short-lived drama series Look . Towards the end of the year she played Kate , a leading role in the film Cold Cabin , and was seen alongside rap star BoB in MEGA Diner - an advertising campaign for Adidas shoes. In 2012 she had her breakthrough with the sequel American Pie: The Class Reunion from the American Pie series , in which she can be seen in a supporting role as Kara . She then appeared in front of the camera as Gillian Gracin for Life's an Itch . In 2014 she starred in the comedy Bad Neighbors as Whitney and in the slasher film Girlhouse - Kill What You Can't Get in the lead role as Kylie Atkins .
