Pelé Andamaning Ali Ibrahim (born September 1, 1969 in Accra ) is a former Ghanaian football player .

Career

society

In 1990 Ibrahim moved from his hometown Accra to Germany to SG Wattenscheid 09 . There he played under coach Hannes Bongartz in the Bundesliga . After four years he moved to Switzerland , where he played one season each for FC Winterthur and Grasshopper Club Zurich . He then played for three years at VBV De Graafschap Doetinchem in the first Dutch league. Ibrahim then had various stations in different countries, most of which did not last longer than a year. This included stays in Belgium , Turkey and Venezuela . He let his career end in the Dutch amateur sector.

National team

Ali Ibrahim was appointed to the selection of the Ghanaian national soccer team for the first time in 1991. With the team he took part in the Africa Cup in 1992 . His team reached the final, which was lost on penalties against the Ivory Coast selection .
