Ali Müfit Bahadır

Ali Müfit Bahadır (* 1947 in Istanbul ) (often just: Müfit Bahadir ) is a German chemist . Bahadır, who was born in Istanbul, received his doctorate in Bonn in 1975 after studying there and in Berlin . This was followed by activities in industry and the move to the "GSF - Research Center for Environment and Health" in Munich, where he was most recently deputy head of the Institute for Ecological Chemistry . In addition, he completed his habilitation at the Technical University of Munich . In 1989 he was offered the C4 professorship for ecological chemistry and waste analysis at the TU Braunschweig . He also founded the institute of the same name there. From 2008 to 2010, Bahadır was also Vice President for International Relations and Technology Transfer at the TU Braunschweig.

The economist Şefik Alp Bahadır is his brother.
