Ali Project

Ali Project is a Japanese progressive rock - band with a strong Gothic-Lolita up image. The band consists of Arika Takarano ( Japanese 宝 野 ア リ カ , Takarano Arika ) (vocals and lyrics) and Mikiya Katakura ( 片 倉 三 起 也 , Katakura Mikiya ) (music and composition).

They made their debut in the charts in 1988 as Ant Project ( 蟻 プ ロ ジ ェ ク ト , Ari Purojekuto ) with the album Fantastic Garden ( 幻想 庭園 , Gensō Teien ).

In 1992 they changed their name and made their mass market debut with the single Fall in love, maiden (恋 せ よ 乙 女; Koi-seyo otome ).

Most of the albums are published by Toshiba EMI , Victor Entertainment and Tokuma Japan .
