Alianza Fútbol Club is a football club from San Salvador , the capital of El Salvador . The club has been eight times champions of El Salvador and won the national cup once. The club, which plays its home games in the 46,000-seat Estadio Cuscatlán, currently plays in El Salvador's highest league, the Primera División .

Alianza FC was founded in 1958. The club won their first title in the same year by winning the El Salvador second division in the final against CD Águila . A few years later, the club also managed to win the Primera División de El Salvador, the national championship, for the first time. Alianza FC was able to add seven more to the title win in the 1965/66 season. Alianza FC won their second national championship one year after the first championship, in 1967. In the same season they had the CONCACAF Champions' Cup , the continental competition for the best club teams in Central America, in the final against CRKSV Jong Colombia from the Netherlands Antilles won, making it the first El Salvador team to win this tournament. Another continental title was winning the Copa Interclubes UNCAF in 1997 in the final against Deportivo Saprissa from Costa Rica . There, too, Alianza was the first Salvadoran team to win this title. The club achieved its last championship in its own country in the 2011 Clausura.
