It was founded in 2000 after a long preliminary phase and one year later entered into a cooperation with the archive of the Pestalozzi-Fröbel-Haus in the joint archive and documentation center for social and educational work with women . With this center, the common origin of social work / education and the close connection with the women's movement should be remembered and made fruitful for the current discussion.
