Alicia Giménez-Bartlett

Alicia Giménez Bartlett (born June 10, 1951 in Almansa ) is a Spanish writer .

She studied Philology at the University of Valencia and obtained her PhD in Spanish Literature from the University of Barcelona , where she has lived since 1975. She became known for her detective novels with the Inspectora Petra Delicado and the Subinspector Fermín Garzón, which were filmed in a 13-part television series in 1999.
