Alicja Tchórz (born August 13, 1992 in Kalisz ) is a Polish swimming athlete who specializes in the back position . The Olympian in London 2012 is the current runner-up in Europe on the short course over the 100-meter course.

successes

After good national results in adolescence, especially in the Delfin position , Tchórz qualified for the Olympics in London . There she was eliminated over 100 meters back and finished 25th with a time of 1: 01.44 min (Olympic champion Missy Franklin , 58.33).

At the European Short Course Championships in 2015 in Netanya , Israel , she won silver over the 100 meters in 57.17 s (Polish record) and was only defeated by the Hungarian Katinka Hosszú (55.42 [Championships Record]). Over 50 meters she landed in fourth place in 26.45 behind world record holder Sanja Jovanović (26.45) and her compatriot Aleksandra Urbańczyk (26.27).
