Alignment by Guernangoué

The Alignement of Guernangoué (also called Menhirs of Guernangoué ) is located in a wood northeast of Roudouallec in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France .

Of the original row of stones made up of three slate menhirs, there is only one wide, but narrow menhir, around 4.25 meters high. Another menhir of the same size with engravings (an ax 30 × 11 cm and an idol in a square 90 × 78 cm) is not far away. In order to better preserve the engravings, the engraved side of the plate was placed on the floor. The other lying menhir was about 5,8 m long, but its end is broken off. On its surface there are 20 bowls , ( French cupules ) some of them weakly pronounced.

The menhir was classified as a monument historique in 1925 .

Nearby is the Alignement du Bois du Duc .
