Alija Rawiljewna Iksanowa ( Russian Алия Равильевна Иксанова ; born June 19, 1984 in Nizhnekamsk ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

By 2011, Iksanowa competed in the Continental Cup and Eastern Europe Cup , which she finished in 2009 with fifth place overall. She had her first World Cup race in January 2011 in Otepää , which she finished classically with 17th place over 10 km and won her first World Cup points. At the Winter Universiade 2011 in Erzurum she won gold over 5 km classic and with the relay and silver in the 10 km pursuit race and in the 15 km mass start race. Her best placings at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo were 19th place over 10 km classic and 6th place with the relay. She had her first top ten result in December 2011 in Rogla . There she reached sixth place in the 10 km mass start race. The 2011/12 and 2012/13 Tour de Ski finished in 36th place and 23rd place. At the Russian cross-country skiing championship in 2012 in Tyumen , she won bronze over 10 km classic. Her greatest success so far was at the 2013 Nordic World Ski Championships in Val di Fiemme . There she reached the 26th place in the skiathlon and won bronze with the relay.
