Alina (* February 1976 ; actually Evelyn Alina Reina ) is a former German rapper .

Career

In 1997 Alina released her first single Nur für dich , which rose to number 36 in the charts. In 1998 the singles Spieglein und Alles ist über , which could not be placed in the charts, appeared. On June 15, 1998 she released her debut album Da kannste mal seh'n , which landed at number 96. All of these CDs were released through EMI .

Since her singles Spieglein and Alles ist über couldn't hold their own in the charts and since her album was a flop, she lost her record deal with EMI. She signed a record deal with BMG and released the song Zu gut für dich there in 1999 . The song also failed to make it into the top hundred on the charts.

Alina later switched to Bev Music AG . There she brought out the single Mit den Waffen einer Frau in late 1999 and the single No way back in early 2000 , which also failed to reach the charts. In February 2000 her second album Friends and Enemies should be released. Due to a legal dispute between her record label and the production company of her music producer Markus Kissel , the album could not be released. In 2002 she decided to end her career as a rapper.

After working as a trade marketing manager at Electronic Arts . Alina works today at Gameforge as Head of Event & Sponsoring (source: xing.com).
