Alina Rosenberg

Alina Rosenberg (born April 29, 1992 in Konstanz ) is a German disabled athlete .

Career

Alina Rosenberg was born in Konstanz . She is severely disabled and suffers from spastic diplegia . She is active as an individual as well as a team rider in the field of dressage riding . At the age of 19 she took part in the 2011 European Championships, where she took 5th place in the championship. She also took part in the European Championships in 2017 and took 3rd place in the freestyle and was fourth with the team.

She achieved her greatest success so far at the 2016 Paralympic Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro . Here she fought for the 2nd place with the team and thus won a silver medal. In addition, she reached 4th place in the individual freestyle.

For winning the silver medal at the Paralympic Summer Games 2016, she was awarded the silver laurel leaf by Federal President Joachim Gauck on November 1, 2016 .
