Alissa Nutting
Alissa Nutting (born in the USA in the 20th century ) is an American author and university professor .
Life
Nutting gained at the University of Florida the degree bachelor and completed her studies at the University of Alabama with the master of Fine Arts (MFA) from. At the University of Alabama, she was intermittent editor of the literary magazine Black Warrior Review . She was a lecturer in creative writing at the private Jesuit University John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio and is now a lecturer in the field of Master of Fine Arts at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas , where she is also a doctoral candidate.
Nutting has so far published a collection of short stories proposed by book critic Ben Marcus for the 2010 Starcherone Prize for Creative Fiction . The novel Tampa followed in 2013, which was also published in German in the same year.
The author lives in Iowa with her husband, author Dan Bakopoulos, and three children .
