Michael Schlitt

Michael Schlitt (* 1958 in Montabaur ) is the foundation director and chairman of the international meeting center foundation as well as chairman of the board of the Oberlausitz foundation.

Life

Michael Schlitt studied political science , Catholic theology and philosophy at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz . After graduating, he worked there from 1984 to 1989 as a research assistant. In 1989 the doctorate followed at the same point. From 1990 to 1995 Michael Schlitt was an academy lecturer and head of the business-ethics-environment department at the Catholic Academy Kardinal-von-Galen in Cloppenburg . From 1992 to 1996 he headed the Oldenburger Münsterland environmental center. Michael Schlitt has been director of the St. Marienthal International Meeting Center Foundation since 1996, managing director of IBZ St. Marienthal Betriebs-GmbH since 1998 and managing director of IBZ St. Marienthal Projekt-GmbH since 2010. In 2006 Michael Schlitt established the Oberlausitz Foundation together with his wife. Michael Schlitt lives in Görlitz .
