Verena von Koskull

Verena von Koskull (born 1970 ) is a German translator .

Life

Verena von Koskull studied Italian and English in Berlin and Bologna and in 1999 received a scholarship for the translation workshop of the Berlin Literary Colloquium . She worked for publishing houses in Italy and Germany, then became a freelance translator in Berlin and translates novels, trivial novels and detective novels from English and Italian. In 2020, von Koskull received the German-Italian Translator Award for her translation of the novel The Catholic School by Edoardo Albinati .
