Rosa Cerrato

Rosa Cerrato is an Italian literary scholar , German teacher, commercial artist and writer who is best known for her crime novels about Genoese Commissioner Nelly Rosso.

Life

Rosa Cerrato was born in Vercelli , but has lived in Genoa since she was seven. After graduating in foreign languages ​​and literature, she taught at high schools in Genoa for several years. From 2001 to 2006 she taught Italian at the University of Mannheim . She published her first detective novel with the Genoese commissioner Nelly Rosso in 2006, which has since been followed by others. She lives with her husband in Genoa and in the Fontanabuona valley in the hinterland of Genoa.
