Luca D'Andrea

Luca D'Andrea (born 1979 in Bolzano ) is an Italian writer and journalist .

Life

Luca D'Andrea works as a teacher at a middle school in Bolzano. He also works as a television journalist and writes scripts for documentaries . Among other things, he shot the production Mountain Heroes for Italian television in 2013 . Gli Eroi delle Dolomiti , a documentary about the everyday life of mountain rescuers in the Dolomites , which also inspired him to write his first thriller .

Under the name GL D'Andrea he wrote three children's books that appeared under the series title Wunderkind . His international breakthrough came with La sostanza del male , his first thriller for adult readers, which he published in 2016 and which was immediately translated into several languages. His second novel, Lissy , received the Premio Giorgio Scerbanenco in 2017 .
