Aliza Olmert
Aliza Olmert ( Hebrew עליזה אולמרט; * 1946 in Eschwege , Hessen ) is an Israeli sculptor and writer.
Aliza Olmert was born in a DP camp in Eschwege in Northern Hesse. Her parents were Holocaust survivors .
Aliza Olmert has written dramas and screenplays and is one of the most renowned visual artists in Israel. She is married to Ehud Olmert , the former Israeli Prime Minister, and has four children.
She is the chairman of a number of children's aid organizations, advocates the interests of young people and campaigns for human rights organizations.
In autumn 2007, Olmert's autobiographical debut novel "A Piece from the Sea" was published by Aufbau-Verlag Berlin.
