Aljaksandr Woranau (born March 15, 1990 ) is a Belarusian cross-country skier .

Career

Woranau made his debut in the Cross-Country World Cup in November 2011 at the Nordic Opening in Kuusamo , where he finished 47th in the opening sprint, but ended the stage race prematurely after 115th place over 15 km freestyle after the second stage. At the World Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme Voranau was 69th in the sprint competition. In 2013 and 2014 Voranau was second in the Belarusian championships in the sprint in classic technique, and in 2014 he was sixth in the freestyle sprint. He won his first World Cup points in Rybinsk in January 2015 with 29th place in the sprint. Subsequently, Voranau started at the World Championships in Falun , where he finished 50th in the sprint and 68th place in the 15 km freestyle and reached 14th place in the relay.

At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he ran to 73rd place in the 15 km freestyle and 24th place in the sprint.
