Aljosa Joske Urnaut (born February 25, 1988 in Zagreb , Yugoslavia ) is a Belgian volleyball player .

Career

Aljosa Urnaut is the son of the Slovenian national player Andrej Urnaut , who became German champion in 2003 with SCC Berlin . He came to Belgium with his family in 2006 and took citizenship of their new home. He played for the Belgian first division club Handelsgids Averbode , which took part in the CEV Cup in the 2006/07 season . In 2008 the outside attacker moved to the Spanish club Portol Palma Mallorca , with whom he reached the round of 16 of the Champions League . After a season on the island, Urnaut returned to Belgium and played for Aquacare Halen (now Topsport Herk-de-Stad ). In the 2011/12 season he and his club were defeated by league rivals Knack Randstad Roeselare in the second round of the CEV Cup . In 2012/13 he played for the German Bundesliga club evivo Düren . Then Urnaut returned to Belgium to Prefaxis Menen .
