Alkandros (Lycians)
Alkandros ( ancient Greek Ἄλκανδρος ) is a Lycian fighter in the Trojan War in Greek mythology .
In Homer's Iliad he fights with the Lycians, who are allied with Troy, against the advancing Greeks, where he is killed by Odysseus . For Virgil , who translated parts of the Iliad in the Aeneid into Latin, Alkandros is a companion of Aeneas . Here he is killed by Turnus .
