Allée couverte by Bel Evan
The Allée couverte von Bel Evan (also called Dolmen von Bellevan ) is a Neolithic gallery tomb (megalithic complex ) in a forest near the N 176, west of Plouër-sur-Rance in the east of the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany in France . It was classified as a Monument historique in 1981 .
The partially destroyed gallery grave was discovered in 1972 by G. Faguet. It is about 14.0 m long and has a side chamber in the north. It was perhaps a gallery grave with side access ( French sépultures mégalithiques à entrée latérale ). All stone blocks are made of quartz .
