Beatus Christian Urassa
Beatus Christian Urassa OSS (born August 2, 1965 in Keni Mashati Rombo , Tanzania ) is a Tanzanian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Sumbawanga .
Life
Beatus Christian Urassa joined the Congregation of the Opus Spiritus Sancti at and received on July 12, 1997, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On April 19, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Sumbawanga. The Archbishop of Dar es Salaam , Polycarp Cardinal Pengo , donated him episcopal ordination on June 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Tabora , Paul Ruzoka , and the Bishop Emeritus of Sumbawanga, Damian Kyaruzi .
