All inclusive ([ ˈɔːl ɪnˈkluːsɪv] ; German  “all inclusive” ) is an anglicism , especially in travel contract law, for a clause that should clarify that all travel services are included in the travel price .

General

During a package tour , for example in a hotel , on a cruise ship or during a round trip , all-inclusive services are included at a package price in the totality of travel services owed by the tour operator , in particular hotel services such as accommodation as well as food and drinks. The provision of the service not in accordance with the agreement constitutes a travel deficiency which , under certain conditions, leads to a reduction in the travel price.

Included travel services

In the absence of an express agreement between the tour operator and the traveler, the type and scope of the services included in the individual case are often only determined in retrospect by the case law.

In addition to meals such as lunch, all inclusive often includes all local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks . Imported drinks such as most wines and spirits usually have to be paid for separately in Europe, as do meals à la carte . A permanent water supply is also included with the option of taking a shower at any time.

All inclusive is often abbreviated to AI in travel documents . In addition to the full-board meals served in the All Inclusive system , coffee and cake in the afternoon, snacks around the clock and sometimes a midnight buffet and cocktails are also offered.

A uniform scope of services as with half board or full board can not be determined with all inclusive offers.

In the travel documents or travel catalogs , the amount of additional drinks, especially alcohol, is often restricted or individually defined; this also applies to meals outside of main meals. Various companies and hotel chains offer variants of all-inclusive ; So there is a so-called "luxury board" in various hotels. This usually involves just a table drink and snacks in the afternoon. In target group-oriented hotels and hotel chains, the definition is often adapted to the main target group. So there, which specializes in family group of Familotels among other things, all inclusive soft . This does not include alcoholic beverages. There is also the All inclusive Premium variant . This offers families a predictable all-round care. Another variant is often called "all inclusive plus" or "ultra all inclusive". This special service includes various services that go beyond the average all-inclusive framework, which in special cases can be used around the clock. These can include, for example: the free visit to the hotel's hairdresser, the use of saunas or particularly good tennis courts with floodlights , the use of shuttle services, à la carte meals in the restaurant, additional snack bars or international alcoholic drinks - for Example also in the hotel disco - as well as the daily refilling of the minibar in the hotel room without separate charge or a service on the (hotel's own) beach.

Whether it is reasonable to have to wear an all-inclusive bracelet in the hotel complex is controversial.
