All You Need Is Love (often abbreviated as AYNIL ) is the third studio album by the German metal band Die Apokalyptischen Reiter . It was released on October 31, 2000.
history
For their third record, the band was able to secure the renowned producer and former Holy Moses guitarist Andy Classen . The cover artwork is by ex- At-the-Gates guitarist Alf Svensson. The album was in the Stage One Studios in stage added.
After Die Apokalyptischen Reiter separated from the label Ars Metalli after Allegro Barbaro in 1999 , they were taken over directly by the Dutch record company Hammerheart Records . This commercial development caused the previous drummer 'Skelleton' to leave the band. Georg Lenhardt, then 19, took his place, while bass player Volkmar Weber took over the backing vocals .
Music genre
The style partly differs clearly from its Death Metal- heavy predecessors, but cannot be precisely defined. There are more melodies, keyboard solos and clear vocals, and for the first time texts are written in German .

New edition
Nuclear Blast later bought the rights to the album from the Hammerheart Records label, which was in financial crisis due to the death of Chuck Schuldiner and the resulting end of his side project Control Denied . All You Need Is Love was then re-released on May 10, 2004 as a digipack . The first edition, limited to 1000 pieces, was already completely sold out by this time.
