Allen Crawley

Allen Crawley ( Allen David Crawley; born May 15, 1941 in Tasmania ) is a former Australian - Papua New Guinean long jumper and sprinter .

At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth in 1962 , he was twelfth in the long jump. Over 100 yards and with the Papua New Guinean 4-by-110-yard relay, he was eliminated in the preliminary run.

In 1966 he won bronze at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston with the Australian 4-by-110-yard relay, was fourth in the long jump and reached the quarter-finals over 100 yards.

At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, he finished sixth in the long jump for Australia.

In 1961 and 1967 he was the Australian long jump champion. His personal best in this discipline of 8.07 m he set on July 9, 1967 in Los Angeles .
