Allerstedt (noble family)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Allerstedt is an imperial ministerial family from the homonymous place Allerstedt in Thuringia, which died out in the 14th century .

history

The family with Konrad and Hartnidus de Alrestete was first mentioned in 1157. Later appear 1180 Hartridus de Alirstede and 1216 Ludolfus de Alirstede , 1236 Ludolfus de Alrestete , 1269 Heinricus and 1370 Ludolfus von Allerstedt zu Allerstedt. Their ancestral seat was the castle of the same name, which lies between Wiehe and Wohlmirstedt . Furthermore, they sat on Berlstedt and Neumark (near Weimar) (1289-1326). Later representatives of the family were elevated to imperial knights. The family died out in the second half of the 14th century.

Presumably they are related to the knights "von Berlstedt", who were mentioned from the 13th to the 16th century, tribal and coats of arms.
