Alliansen (Norway)

Alliansen ( Norw. "The Alliance") is a small party in Norway . It was founded on November 22, 2016. Hans Jørgen Lysglimt Johansen is party chairman and sole member.

Alliansen is a nationalist party and its chairman represents anti-Semitic , racist and homophobic positions. He also publicly denies the Holocaust , which is currently not a separate crime in Norway. He described established parties and the Prime Minister Erna Solberg as traitors who had to be tried in a “people's court”.

There is no actual party program . The main demand is to end Norway's membership in the European Economic Area . The party wants to fight the current asylum and immigration policy.

For the general election in Norway in 2017 joined Alliansen nationwide with candidates, yet scored only one voting share of 0.1 percent.

In April 2019, it became known that the party had put people on its electoral lists against their will, which is permitted under Norwegian law. In Oslo, for example, 58 of these people, including the Norwegian Minister of Justice Jøran Kallmyr , withdrew. However, four of the well-known nominees - comedians Johan Golden , Sturla Vik Pedersen , Espen Thoresen and Markus Gaupås Johansen - did not allow themselves to be crossed off the list, but instead announced that they wanted to remove Hans Jørgen Lysglimt Johansen. At a press conference they declared that from now on the party would no longer deny the Holocaust and would advocate Norway's EU membership. Lysglimt Johansen replied that it was not possible to remove him as he is the only party member.
