Almklausi (born April 5, 1969 ; real name Klaus Krehl-Meier , nee Meier ) is a German party singer from Mössingen .
Career
Klaus Meier began working as a party DJ as early as the late 1980s. In 2002 he released his first single with Hey little Luder , sung to the tune of Hey Pippi Longstocking . Since then his recordings have been featured regularly on party samplers such as Ballermann Hits and he sings in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Bulgaria and Mallorca.
In June 2007 he was able to place a title in the charts for the first time under the name Schwaben König with the song Ein Stern (... which stands over Stuttgart) , a rewritten version of the title by DJ Ötzi for the then German champions VfB Stuttgart . A year later, Lo lo let's go! , another football song, this time for the European Football Championship , which rose to number 73 in the German charts. The chorus is based on the riff from Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes, which is particularly popular in the stadiums .
At the end of 2009 he recorded a new version of 10 meters go by Chris Boettcher with pop singer Markus Becker . In August 2019 he was a candidate for Celebrity Big Brother . He finished fifth.
