Almut Henkel

Almut Henkel (* before 1964 in Bottrop ) is a German theater actress.

Life

Almut Henkel was born in Bottrop and grew up in Erlangen . After school she completed two semesters of history and English, and from 1982 to 1984 she attended the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts . After completing her diploma, she worked at the Basel Municipal Theaters , the Gallus Theater in Frankfurt am Main , the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden , the State Theater Karlsruhe and the City Theater Heidelberg . Almut Henkel has been a permanent member of the National Theater Mannheim ensemble since 1988 . Here, in 1989, with her portrayal of Käthchen in Das Käthchen von Heilbronn ( Kleist ), the magazine Theater heute named her young actress of the year.

In 1993 she was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen with Yvonne, the Burgundy Princess, with the Heidelberg City Theater . In 1994 she was invited to the theater meeting with the Mannheim National Theater with Walpurgis Night , where she mimed Tamarotschka.

Almut Henkel is a founding member of the Mannheimer Kulturklub Zentrale , a meeting place in the focus area T2, 16 in Mannheim. She was the head of the cultural department and organized events, including a. also own readings.
