Alois Albert

Alois Albert (born June 21, 1880 in Königshofen im Grabfeld , † December 16, 1939 there ) was a German politician (BVP).

Live and act

After attending elementary school and advanced training school from 1887 to 1897, Albert was trained in agriculture. He worked as a farmer until at least 1928. In 1904 he married.

From 1915 to 1918 Albert took part in the First World War with the 5th Reserve Infantry Regiment, in which he was wounded on November 23, 1916. After the war he became involved in the Christian Farmers' Association in Lower Franconia , where he was given the post of district chairman in 1920.

In the 1920s, Albert joined the Bavarian People's Party (BVP). In the Reichstag election of May 1928 he was elected to the Reichstag for this , in which he represented constituency 26 (Francs) until the election in September 1930. Since 1924 he was also a member of the city council of Königshofen im Grabfeld.
