Alois Gulder

Alois Gulder (born September 8, 1901 in Vienna , † December 16, 1972 ibid) was an Austrian bank director who worked in the field of prehistory .

Gulder worked professionally at Österreichische Länderbank , most recently as a department director. In his free time, Gulder was particularly interested in the Paleolithic Age and also carried out excavations. Together with Otto Ritter, he owned a large collection of prehistoric and palaeontological objects that were brought together in Lower Austria and later came into the possession of the Paleontological Institute of the University of Vienna .
