Alois Harlander

Alois Harlander (born April 18, 1870 in Reissing , Straubing District Office; † April 23, 1953 in Landshut ) was a German building contractor.

Career

Harlander owned a sawmill. Especially after the First World War , he built several hundred apartments in Landshut, self-financed, to alleviate the housing shortage. The quarter between Piflaser Weg, Alter Regensburger Strasse and Flutmulde , which was mainly built by him, bears the name "Harlanderviertel".
