Alois Lutz

Alois Lutz (* 1898 in Vienna ; † 1918 ) was an Austrian figure skater .

As a young ice skater and ice hockey player , Lutz trained at the Engelmann artificial ice rink in Vienna at an early age .

He is the inventor of the figure skating jump named after him Lutz . For the first time in a competition he showed the jump in 1913.

Lutz never took part in an international competition. He died of pneumonia at the age of 19.
