Alois Rosenberger

Alois Rosenberger (born January 5, 1960 in Oed-Oehling ) is a politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and director of the Francisco Josephinum . From November 9, 2017 to October 22, 2019, he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Life

Alois Rosenberger attended high school in Amstetten and studied agriculture at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences between 1978 and 1984 (Dipl.-Ing.). After graduating, he did his military service and was a teacher at an agricultural and forestry college (LFS) for three years . He moved to the Francisco Josephinum and worked there as a teacher between 1988 and 2002. He has been the director since 2002.

politics

From 1990 to 2005 Rosenberg was a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Amstetten. Between 2000 and 2010 he was the managing ÖVP council and financial advisor in the municipality of Oed-Oehling. In the 2017 National Council election , he was ranked 13th on the ÖVP's federal list, won a mandate and was sworn in on November 9, 2017 in the Austrian National Council. After the National Council election in 2019 , he resigned from the National Council.
