Alojzy Marcol

Alojzy Marcol (born June 4, 1931 in Buchenau , Ratibor district ; † March 25, 2017 ) was a Polish priest and lecturer and university professor for Catholic theology specializing in moral theology .

Life

Alojzy Marcol was ordained a priest on June 23, 1957 in Opole . Subsequently studied at the Catholic University of Lublin . He then taught at the higher seminary in Neisse . At the same time he worked from 1962 to 1964 and from 1969 to 1977 as rector of the St. Francis Church in Neisse and then as rector of the local seminary. From 1883 to 1994 he taught at the Catholic Academy in Katowice .

In 1993 he was appointed professor of theology and taught from 1994 to 2002 at the Theological Faculty of the University of Opole . After retiring, he worked at the theological college in Heiligenkreuz Abbey from 2002 to 2007 .

Alojzy Marcol died on March 29, 2017. He was buried in the cemetery in his hometown of Nędza.
