Alok Nath (* 10. July 1956 in Patna ) is an Indian Bollywood - Actor .

Career

Nath made his film debut in 1982 with the British-Indian feature film Gandhi , which won several Oscars after having previously appeared in 1980 for the series Rishte-Naate . His cast in Ramesh Sippy's television series Buniyaad in 1987 made him famous, and in 1989 he starred alongside popular Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the hit Maine Pyar Kiya . Since then, Nath has been involved in more than 200 film and series productions as an actor. Although he doesn't like typecasting , he is often cast in the role of the good-natured patriarch. He most recently appeared in Imran Khan's film Sargoshiyan , which was released in India in May 2017 .
