The Alpine Creditors Association (AKV) or AKV EUROPA is an Austrian, existing since 1924 Association of serving its members and clients, and is an independent organization . Since 1926, the AKV has been active as a state-privileged creditor protection association. The aim of the non-partisan, non-profit-making association, which is based on membership , is to protect its members from bad debts at home and abroad and to strengthen their business performance. In addition to Vienna, there are branches of the AKV throughout Austria . These are located in Linz , Salzburg , Innsbruck , Feldkirch , Graz , and Klagenfurt .

history

The Carinthian creditors' association was founded in 1924 . 1926 followed the granting of the "privilege as a creditor protection association" in the sense of the Austrian insolvency law. The headquarters were relocated from Klagenfurt to Graz in 1951. In 1960 the association was renamed the Alpine Accounts Payable Association for Credit Protection and Business Administration . In 1963 the economic center was set up in Vienna. In 1974 the association was granted the right to use the national coat of arms . The association was renamed "AKV EUROPA" - Alpine Accounts Payable Association - in 2011.

Services

The services include insolvency representation, dunning & debt collection ( collection of money), monitoring (monitoring of creditworthiness ("signal service")), business information (creditworthiness information on payment behavior and the financial situation of a company) as well as business advice.

  • AKV information and the "confidential list"
All new insolvency proceedings occurring in Austria are published in the weekly AKV-Informations: settlements, bankruptcies and debt settlement procedures ( private bankruptcies ) with exact dates and daily statutory dates; in addition, the current status of the pending insolvency proceedings. The GAB information also contains dates and details on judicial auctions. In the exclusive “confidential list” contained in the GAB information, debtors appear who, as far as the GAB is aware, are unable to meet their payment obligations despite intensive interventions.
