In each episode, two children's teams consisting of school classes competed against each other (Delta and Omega), who had to solve various tasks (quizzes, skill and action games) on their imaginary flight to the Alpha 5 space station .

The teams were accompanied by the little robot "Alfi", which was quite similar to the robot VINCENT from the Disney film The Black Hole (1979). Alfi moderated the show and started every match with the battle cry: "Toc-toc-toc, oi-oi-oi!" Often this show is mistakenly associated with Claus Kruesken as the presenter, who later also moderated the show Flip-Flop .

The broadcast was u. a. designed by Wolfgang Rudolph , who became known together with Wolfgang Back as the moderator of the WDR computer club . Rudolph developed and operated the technology in this program as well.

The entire software for the games used, including its own graphic operating system and the components for networking two computers (Apple IIe), was developed by Peter-M. Oden developed.
