Flip flop (TV show)

Flip-Flop was a German game show for children. It ran in the years 1985-1991 on the ARD and comprised about 25 minutes and a total of 68 programs. Bayerischer Rundfunk was responsible for the production . The show host was Claus Kruesken . Flip Flop was considered a continuation of Alpha 5 .

Conception

Three school classes from Germany , Austria and Switzerland competed against each other. Mainly, games of skill on specific topics were carried out in the game rounds. There was also a guessing game for the teams, the so-called oracle . Here a fortune teller looked into a ball and the teams had to guess what she saw there based on descriptions.

The rotating flip-flop was an integral part . The teams had to master various tasks on the disc, which could suddenly change direction. Whoever lasted the longest got the most points. The winning team was given the chance to defend their title in the following broadcast.

First broadcast

The show first ran on October 1, 1985 on ARD. It was part of the program " Fun on Tuesday ".
