Old Church of St. Kilian in Herbolzheim

The Old Church of St. Kilian (also Bernhardusheim ) in Herbolzheim , a district of the municipality of Neudenau in the Heilbronn district in northern Baden-Württemberg , was built in 1770 in the center of the village on the site of an older chapel. It replaced the dilapidated St. Wendelin Church in the Herbolzheim cemetery. When the local Catholic community grew rapidly after the Second World War due to the influx of expellees , today's larger St. Kilian Church was built elsewhere and the old church in the center of the village was rededicated as the Bernhardusheim event building.
